$50,000 Donated
The third annual 1845 Creative Golf Classic, held on October 11, 2024, at the scenic Landa Park Golf Course, brought together 118 passionate golfers for a day of friendly competition and charitable giving. This year’s event raised over $16,000, pushing the total funds raised to an impressive $50,000. This year’s tournament proceeds will benefit the Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (MCOT), a critical program that provides life-saving mental health services to those in need.
Jenny Wilson, owner of 1845 Creative and event producer, expressed her gratitude to all participants and sponsors for their generous support. “Each year, the 1845 Creative Golf Classic brings our community together to support suicide prevention in Comal County. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has helped us grow this event and further our mission to save lives through the work of organizations like MCOT,” said Wilson.
Special thanks were extended to the top contributors for this year’s tournament, including McKenna, The Carlson Law Firm, Joeris General Contractors, and the New Braunfels Professional Firefighters Association. Their unwavering support played a key role in the event’s success.
The 1845 Creative Golf Classic was created to raise awareness and funds for suicide prevention, and it continues to grow in size and impact each year. The tournament serves as a vital fundraiser for this epidemic we are experiencing in our community.
Mark your calendars—the fourth annual 1845 Creative Golf Classic is already set for October 17, 2025.
